Doing any in-house electro fixings requires not so much knowledge but needs attention and following some basic energoproekt rules.
It is important to be aware of your local regulations regarding electrical activities.
In many towns, there are limitations on the work an unlicensed person may do… even the owner of the house. There are also differences made between what an unlicensed homeowner can do and what an unlicensed tradesman can do.
There are also distinctions made within types of electrical work. Appliance installation, for example, is often not considered banned energoprojects if the original wiring and connection was made by a authorised specialist.
Local regulations composed because of and are often based on local concerns. Highly populated territories, such as large cities, tend to have electrical codes much limiting homeowner electrical interventions because mistakes can put in danger hundreds or thousands of people! Community regulations are often less strict, making possible more owner flexibility and involvement in the work. That is why there is an electrical code, so everybody is familiar on the right and incorrect way to perform an electrical wiring and tuning. If every household was wired under a random standard, how could anyone without paranormal abilities figure out how to troubleshoot a circuit?
We are not trying to prevent everyone from educating and enriching your abilities. We wouldn’t have little chance of doing it, anycase. But you should know by now that we are a strong advocate of independence and self-reliance. But if one person burnt his home down because he thought that he could do that electrical job, and was not sufficiently knowledgeable to do the job|task right… well, that is not what we had in mind when started this energoproject. We have seen some electrical wiring disasters throughout Russia, and major share|most were undertaken by homeowners who thought that performing electrical wiring|work was no more worthy of care than sweeping the backyard!
